We were kind of feeling sad that our dogs were getting old because they’ve been walking so slowly every time we go around our neighborhood, so we thought of bringing them someplace new. We drove to Parklinks, where we realized that all our dogs needed was a new place to see because holy hells, they were walking so fast and exploring and basically treating the place like their own.

There’s practically nothing at Parklinks yet, except an Ayala mixed-use building that’s under construction, so we were able to park anywhere we wanted, and the security guards were pretty chill with it. There also weren’t a lot of people around, except a few joggers and other families with their dogs. If you’re planning to bring your dog along, make sure to clean up after them and also watch out for the strays in the area; they still seem very protective of the place.
Anyway, because there’s really not a lot to see at Parklinks, there really wasn’t a whole lot to do except walk around, enjoy the somewhat fresh air, and appreciate the area, as bare as it is, because you can bet that in a couple of years, it’s going to be all built up and crowded.

To learn a little more about the place, we feigned interest in the condo being built and found out from the salespeople that there’s going to be a ferry service along the Marikina River that will serve Parklinks, Bridgetowne, and Arcovia.

It’s a nice place for a walk, great if you want to avoid crowds, but go there as soon as you can and enjoy it as much as possible; it’s not like to stay as freely accessible for very long.
