You pass by something so often and get so used to seeing it that you can’t ever imagine it going away, but that’s what’s clearly going to happen to Delta Building at the corner of Quezon Avenue and West Avenue. Parts of it are already covered up, and I can only guess that it’s going to be replaced by something like a condo building.

This building housed a Dunkin Donuts, a Pizza Hut, an ukay-ukay place where I got quite a number of nice clothes, and it even had a movie theater in the 1980s and early 1990s, which was nice to have especially if you didn’t feel like going to SM North EDSA to watch a movie. I don’t mean to sound like such an old person, but it’s unnerving to see the places you grew up seeing gradually disappearing.
