Kyoto Ramen Hiro has great ramen

I really love all the ramen places opening up in Quezon City. There are way more choices than there used to be, and one of my unofficial goals in life is to try as many of them as possible and perhaps gain the ability to explain the differences between all the types of ramen.

One of the somewhat newer ramen spots in QC is Kyoto Ramen Hiro. It opened almost a year ago on March 1, 2025, and boasts carefully crafted ramen and a mission to offer “a taste of Kyoto.” We usually avoid eating at restaurants when they’re newly opened and prefer checking them out once they’ve settled into a rhythm, so we went to Kyoto Ramen Hiro just late last month (making this blog post and the video pret-ty late already). We ordered the gyoza, the mazesoba, and a bowl of tonkotsu kara ramen.

Check out my short video of our meal at Kyoto Ramen Hiro.

It was a delightful meal overall. The gyoza was tasty and had a nice crunch to it, while both noodle dishes were satisfying. The chashu slices in my ramen were somewhat thin, but oh my goodness it was flavorful.

Kyoto Ramen Hiro is at 29 Scout Bayoran Street.
