Back in 2017, I was assigned to write about a new restaurant called Steak To One in Quezon Memorial Circle. The food—incredible, affordable steaks—and the atmosphere were enough to turn me into a fairly regular visitor.

Steak To One’s Quezon Memorial Circle branch has since closed to make way for the MRT construction, but they have opened up elsewhere, with branches along Maginhawa Street, in Batasan Hills, and in Parañaque. The menu has since expanded to include a cheeseburger, a cheesesteak sandwich, more pasta, desserts, and more types of steak, but it’s very much the same familiar steakhouse I’ve enjoyed for years.

It’s also pet-friendly, something they’ve been since their Quezon Memorial Circle days. They’ve taken in various stray dogs over the years and cared for them, and they continue to look after stray dogs in the area too. The dogs seem to know at this point that they can stop by here for a drink, food, and shelter.

Overall, yeah, Steak To One is still one of my favorite restaurants in the Maginhawa area, even in all of Quezon City. Honestly wish I could eat here more often, but the shared parking space is often completely occupied and the restaurant itself is often full, with a number of people lined up outside—which to me is a clear sign that other people agree with me on how good this place is.
