We heard that the CHK gym at UP Diliman was the venue for the floorball matches for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. Despite never having heard of floorball before, we went and checked out the match between the Philippines and Thailand. The Philippine women’s team won the day before, so we were curious how the men’s team was going to fare. As you can see in the image above, we lost by quite a bit 😀
The sport is much more fast paced and exciting than I expected, and the Thai team was pretty impressive. Will we start following floorball as a sport after this? Mm, probably not, but it was fun to have caught the match.
